A Christmas Poem of Love, Forgiveness, and Grace

 This Christmas morn, let hearts take flight,

With love and warmth, like the star so bright.

In the humblest cradle, salvation lay,

Teaching us kindness each and every day.


To forgive is divine, so let burdens release,

In the spirit of Christ, may conflicts cease.

For the child who came, so gentle and small,

Showed the way to love and embrace all.


Be small in pride, but big in heart,

From this sacred truth, let healing start.

Let love be the gift we freely give,

For in Christ’s light, we truly live.


So this Christmas, let’s cherish the call,

To love one another, both great and small.

With humble hearts and spirits aglow,

Merry Christmas to all, let His blessings flow!

A Dream

In the quiet of night, I close my eyes, Where shadows and memories softly rise, A dream begins, tender and true, And there she stands, like morning dew. Her voice, a whisper, sweet and clear, Like a melody only the heart can hear, Her hands reach out, warm and near, Banishing every lingering fear. Her smile, a beacon, glowing bright, Guiding me through the endless night, I run to her, arms open wide, In this dream, there’s no need to hide. We talk of days long since passed, Of laughter and love meant to last, And in this moment, time stands still, As though the world bends to our will. But as dawn’s light begins to creep, I feel the dream begin to seep, Away like mist, fragile and thin, The world outside beckons me in. She stood with a heart, open and bare, But his words were daggers, slicing the air. Not in shouts, nor in fights loud and wild, But in silence that crushed, cold and defiled. Like a pot turned upside down, sealed tight, No matter her plea, no matter her fight. Her innocence lay, unheard, unseen, Drowned in shadows where truth had been.
