Lifeboat

On silent water, it sails smoothly
No visible signs of wear and tear
Battered by storms wild and unruly
Huge waves lashing it everywhere
Yet bounced back to surface afloat

Waves and storms left their traces
Dumped it with unwanted rubble
Yet it kept moving, daring to go places
Taking head on each and every trouble
But unable to get rid of all the debris

Not for very long time it will sail
It will be weighed down by its junk
And bound to sink and become a tale
Withal floats proudly till the final plunge
Sadly this is the story of lifeboat
